Job Title: Senior Director, Sales and Marketing
Job Summary:
HJW
Geospatial, Inc. is seeking a full-time Senior Director of Marketing and Sales
to work from our San Francisco Bay Area headquarters.
As
the leader of the HJW sales and marketing team this individual will be
responsible for planning, directing and coordinating all marketing and sales
activities.
This
position reports to the President/CEO and is responsible for management of the
full marketing and sales function, including the project management team, from
product and service positioning and related marketing communications,
lead-generation and business development programs, to efficient management of
open projects in support of the company’s business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Directs the
development of sales plans and unique marketing solutions necessary to
achieve brand objectives and profitable growth.
- Formulates,
implements, and monitors sales goals and strategies and develops and
manages all related pricing and programs.
- Creates and
actively manages the development of specific sales plans and accounts as
necessary to reach objectives, profitable growth and market share/image
enhancement.
- Forecasts sales,
monitors results, and reports on effectiveness of sales team activities;
prepares and monitors sales budget.
- Gathers and
monitors information on competition, market trends and other market
research.
- Develops
strategic marketing plan to meet goals and objectives of the company.
- Develops and
maintains marketing budget.
- Directs the
production of marketing and promotional materials and programs including
but not limited to print, electronic media, proposals, tradeshows, direct
mail and signage.
- Attends
conventions, conferences and tradeshows as needed, prepares post event
reports and analysis.
- Works closely
with Operations to ensure efficient support of active projects,
coordinating capacity, production options and schedules.
- Works closely
with Accounting to develop budgets, monitor expenses and to forecast sales
and revenue.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s
degree in business or technical field, MBA preferred.
- 7-10 years
experience in Sales and Marketing management.
- Proven sales
track record.
- Experience in
professional services environment a plus.
- Strong attention
to detail while following the high level strategy and goals of the
company.
- Exceptional
commitment to client solutions and support.
- Exceptional
analytical and problem solving skills.
- Excellent
interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written,
presentation, and verbal communication skills.
