EXPERIENCE
With significant experience as an aerial triangulation specialist,
Devin has worked intimately with the latest software and processing
techniques used in softcopy photogrammetry. He has experience
with a wide range of projects, a fundamental understanding of
photogrammetry, and an eye for efficient management. From 2000
to 2005, he was responsible for the aerial triangulation of
over 45 county-wide projects, many of which involved airborne
GPS/IMU. In 2003 and 2004 alone, he was responsible for the
aerial triangulation used to produce more than 50,000 orthophotos.
Devin has also been involved with photogrammetric processing
of countless large-scale engineering projects. He has had much
success with his in-house software development, which has enabled
higher efficiency in all facets of the production workflow.
Devin
has substantial experience with new technologies such as digital
cameras and LiDAR. In 2006 he has managed several very large
projects (thousands of images) that involved autocorrelation
and orthophoto production from digital photography (Ultracam).
Currently, Devin is the technical lead for HJW’s LiDAR
processing operations, and has been instrumental in the development
of HJW’s LiDAR department.
As a Certified
Photogrammetrist, Devin maintains active with the American Society
of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing, and has recently had a
research paper published with the organization (Fall, 2006).
As a project
manager, he is able to work closely with the client and production
team to solve technical issues and maintain efficient operation.
His depth of understanding is of critical importance in his
communications and relations with subcontractors and clients.
