Llagas Creek, CA Mapping
This project was undertaken as part of an open-ended contract
between the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, San Francisco District,
and the team consisting of Bestor Engineers, HJW GeoSpatial, and
Sea Surveyor. The Corps required orthophotography and photogrammetric
mapping with 1’ contours, of the 300-foot wide strip centered
on the creek. The project area was 10 miles long. The Corps used
the data for flood control analysis. HJW services included:
• Aerial photography at 1:3600, 78 exposures in seven flight
lines,
• Aerial triangulation,
• Stereo compilation of DTM and generation of 1’ contours,
• Scanning, orthorectification, and mosaic of 78 exposures. |
