Multi-State NASCAR Racetrack Mapping Projects
In 2002, HJW was contracted to map 25 NASCAR race tracks around
the country under a tight timeline. Relying on our network of
aerial photo firms to collect the necessary large scale photography,
HJW coordinated the project from beginning to end. This included
the generation of all flight planning materials, composition of
specifications, and overall management of the subcontractors’
activities. As a result, the project was delivered within the
scheduled time. By utilizing real-time GPS systems in their cars,
NASCAR used HJW’s racetrack mapping as a foundation for
their real-time graphic displays as well as subsequent spatial
analysis. |
