Uvas and Chesbro Reservoir, CA Mapping
The Santa Clara Valley Water District contracted with HJW GeoSpatial,
Bestor Engineers, and Sea Surveyor to provide aerial and hydrographic
survey for computation of the size and capacity of the Uvas and
Chesbro reservoirs. HJW acquired aerial photography of both reservoirs
and compiled 100 scale mapping with 1’ contours. HJW services
included:
• Aerial photography at 1:7200
• Aerial triangulation
• Scanning of aerial photography
• Stereo compilation of DTM and production of digital mapping
• Volume calculations and spillway measurements. |
