HJW
GeoSpatial to host LiDAR/Photogrammetry workshop at the 2006
CLSA Conference
March 6, 2006, Oakland, CA- HJW GeoSpatial will be
hosting a workshop at the 2006 California Land Surveyors Association
Annual Conference in Reno, Nevada. The workshop is titled “Incorporating
Photogrammetry into the Classification and QA/QC of LiDAR Data
Processing”, and is scheduled for 3:30 pm on March 14th.
Since LiDAR technology and processing methodologies are continually
evolving, it is important to emphasize the redundancy that mature
photogrammetric technologies can provide when dealing with such
data sets.
This conference
takes place every year as a collaborative effort between the
California Land Surveyors Association and the Nevada Association
of Land Surveyors. The purpose of the conference is to bring
professionals together over the course of four days to partake
in surveying related seminars in addition to providing an opportunity
for vendors of surveying equipment and software to show their
wares and to make known the advances being made within the industry.
It is a time to meet new people, to network with potential employers
and to enjoy the company of those who feel passionately about
their careers within the land surveying profession.
