HJW GEOSPATIAL MARKS RENEWAL OF US CORPS OF ENGINEERS IDIQ (A-E) CONTRACT FOR PHOTOGRAMMETRIC MAPPING SERVICES
Oakland, CA - December 4, 2007 -
HJW GeoSpatial, Inc. has been awarded a Photogrammetric Mapping and GIS
Services contract with the US Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento
District. Initially awarded in November 2006, the indefinite delivery
indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract is now entering its second year and
has a maximum value of $1.5 million over three years. Task orders
negotiated under the contract involve work for the US Army Corps of
Engineers and other federal agencies, covering services relating to
photogrammetric mapping, aerial photography and LiDAR, remote sensing,
aerial triangulation and topographic mapping. The contract covers all
locations within the boundaries of the South Pacific Division, which
includes portions of 10 western states encompassing one-fifth of the
contiguous 48 states and incorporating the Corps' operating districts
centered in Sacramento, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Albuquerque.

HJW's latest award with the US Army
Corps of Engineers continues a longstanding legacy of work for the Army
Corps of Engineers over many years. In addition to this award from the
Sacramento District, HJW GeoSpatial has ongoing work with Bestor
Engineers, Inc. (Monterey, California) and Michael Baker Corporation
(Moon Township, Pennsylvania) in support of the Army Corps of Engineers.
